Working with a local arts charity; The NewBridge Project, this project involved the creation of a new dedicated space for their Youth Group project.
The broader space was refurbished, updating the specification to contemporary standards and then within this a series of large-scale, built-in furniture items were designed to help define three key zones for differing age groups.
Each element of furniture is stained a differing colour bringing a distinct identity to each area, but also cohesion through a series of complementary tones. The furniture elements take an L shaped form in the space, creating a series of bench seats gathered around tables, storage for equipment and lockers for personal belongings.
